The little book of Monarchs by Tony Boullemier![]() Review by Trev
The little book of Monarchs I offered to review this book by Tony Boullemier mainly due to my interest in history. I was far from disappointed. Even though it is designed to provide an easy and memorable guide to our last 1000 years of rule for 10+ year olds it is an ideal guide to aid anyone interested in history and its timeline. It uses only five short sentences to bullet point each monarch’s more memorable treats both good and bad with a cartoon for visual aid. The ruling houses are also covered at the back of the book to also put things in order. A recommendable read and in hardback, one that will last for many years. On a personal note, I enjoyed the information too and though I consider myself an enthusiastic amateur where history is concerned, I found a good number of facts that I hadn’t known before I read the book. Good job! |
