Right from the opening scene we are kept in the throes of action and turmoil. Alexa O'Brien is a huntress for hire, we are introduced to her occupation in the beginning pages with Alexa fighting a vampire and her friend and co-worker helping her out. We are drawn into the paranormal world, with a hint of mystery and a budding romance.
I enjoyed the storyline, but could have done without the love triangle and wished that Alexa had a bit more strength to resist the triangle, but I am looking forward to reading more of Trina M. Lee's books in this series in hopes that Alexa tames down her romantic appetites and chooses herself a beautiful husband
