One Bite is the first book in the series. Erotica isn't my usual genre, but this book had a great storyline and kept me interested.
Kaylen is a homicide detective and has seen just about everything, until her and her partner Sebastian end up on some bazaar death and sex cases. Kaylen finds a clue on the scene of the last case they start working up. She follows her unusual hunch and decides to learn all she can about it.
Her curiosity may have caused her to bite off more than she and her partner can chew.
A great erotic vampire read that is meant for an adult audience only. It has lots of sexual content and language, which goes hand in hand with the genre and storyline. I am glad I went out of my comfort zone and gave the book a try. I look forward to reading the next book in the series and more work by this author.

This is the second book in the series. The book starts off with a bang of course. Sebastian and Kaylen are enjoyed the "extra" that becoming vampires have given them. Unfortunately, they are still detectives and can't just be caught up in lust and fun. They are called in on a new bizarre case and meet up with Johnny, which knows more about bizarre than most humans should. The two of them embark on a journey to seek revenge against Elizabeth, with Johnny right on their heels. There are a few twists and turns and a few surprises, to say the least.

Alexi and her family have always lived in Ravenswood and never thought anything of it. What she doesn't know is that no one has ever successfully left there since before the witch trials.
Life with her dad and bff Logan are normal and uneventful until the first new student in 30yrs comes to the highschool. Kyle makes her heart flutter and is on the receiving end of her outbursts to which there are many! With Logan's insistence Kyle joins their "pack" and each of their lives are changed forever.
Great teen read! Alexi is a love-able character and you journey with her through her ups and downs. She's strong and confident with no annoying faults like some teenagers in fiction. The relationship between her and Logan is fresh with his witty commentating being truly funny.
Really surprised when Kyle came on the scene as I thought it would be another love triangle and he's the perfect "otherworldly" out of towner who she falls for but he is definitely not as he seems.
Very enjoyable read with no stale dips in the middle of the story. Glad to read book 2!

Kaylen and Sebastian have been partners on the force for 3 years and a string of sexually explicit murders see's them delve into strange waters starting at a Fetish club. Their true desires are revealed and so are the existence of vampires.
As with most novella's it gets straight to the point (no pun intended). Kaylen and Sebastian have an easy relationship relying on each other with him being the only person knowing about her "gift". Very fast paced with breath catching erotic scenes.
The dialogue is a little formal and could use some abbreviation but that may be more to my personal preference.
Can't wait to read number 2!

The second instalment see's Kaylen and Sebastian deep into the vampire world after being turned by the head Vampiress Elizabeth. Many myth's are challenged while they continue to work as detectives during the daylight hours.
The infamous Egyptian room where their troubles began must be revisited but this time they have an enthusiastic human in tow. Very good twist at the end!
Enjoyed how the couple have embraced their vampirism by helping each other overcome the challenge of feeding. Their relationship continues to sizzle with jaw dropping sex scenes that are captivating. Wish there was more of the story to read.
