The Heavenly Road Trip by Fiona Linday
Review by Trev
This is an anthology of four short stories. Off the Beaten Track This tells the tale of a young girl from Eastern Europe and her break for freedom from what could turn out to be slavery and trafficking. It is descriptive and sets the scene well. I felt it could go on into a full length novel and left you wanting more. Still First This story is about overcoming difficulties. Set around the Paralympics. I have read very similar stories before and wished for a different ending for once. Meg’s Diary Quite strange. Paradise Lost – Not This is an excellent story of a journey into paradise. The anthology is an easy read with each story different to the next. None of these stories are anything like my normal read. |
