Great Read
Well I was a little put off with some of the negative reviews but was glad I decided to try this book. I love books that make you read about the true history of the events in the story. Exciting, well written book that keeps you reading from the start and into the next book.
The early formation of Wales was a time of war and this book tries to take you there and inform you of the many great houses that helped form the country. Not yet controlled by England life is complex to say the least and the author tries to keep with the Welsh names which although a little difficult to get into does make the story more believable.

Another Great Read
After reading book one I knew this book would not disappoint. It continued from book one and again keeps you engrossed from start to finish. Taking you back to the formation of our nation and the slow and brutal history of the conquest of Wales. Although a little slower than the first I found the history a little easier to follow due to having fewer kings around.
