Bleed with style by Glenn Scrimshaw

Review by Natalie
After the novellas I've read lately I'm starting to love the concept of them! A perfect little story without the tedious moments you just want to skip sometimes so this was perfect for me.
Camp and very witty tale about the young vampire Eloim which leads me to wonder about the authors state of mind.
Eloim is a very imaginative cross dresser who takes his style very seriously much to the cringing of his family members who are very tolerant of his lifestyle...until he borrows their boots. He's often getting into trouble but has a tight knit family who come to the rescue often.
Very fun tale with a few very minor editing errors but wanted it to be a full book it was so enjoyable. Well done Glenn!

Bleed with Style by Glenn Scrimshaw

Review by D Michelle
Eloim is a spirited teenager. He has dodgy dress sense but the style and aplomb to carry off the strangest combinations. He loves winding up his sisters by stealing their clothes, boots and makeup but he doesn't take to his lessons so well.
Eloim gets himself into a bad scrape one evening in a dark alley and he is relieved when his sister turns up - to help or to berate him?
This is a FABULOUS adventure with an exciting twist. Eloim is a vampire, you see.

The Missing Sacrifice by Glenn Scrimshaw

Review by D Michelle
Eloim is in trouble again - no surprise there then - but the dangers are multiplied by the resurfacing of a foe that he thought had been defeated. His long-suffering sisters are coming to the rescue though, fighting their way through swathes of werewolves just to get Polly's boots back - so she claims.
This is Eloim's second adventure and it's as exciting and twisty-turny as the first. Another excellent story from the pen of Glenn Scrimshaw.

The Missing Sacrifice (Eloim) by Glenn Scrimshaw

Review by Sherrill
In Eliom's latest tale, we have more fashion disasters (his siblings, certainly not him), a run in with a succubus that ends in him getting kidnapped, and he finally makes a friend in a the Prince of the Warewolves. Unfortunately he's been hunted by a royal Demon who has promised 1,000 years of pain when she catches him. I laughed out loud throughout the tale and look forward to many more Eloim adventures. Anyone who likes stories about vampires, or dysfunctional families, will enjoy this tale!

The Missing Sacrifice by Glenn Scrimshaw

Review by Natalie
The second novella about Eloim see's him taking his eagerly anticipated trip to Paris, the fashion capital of the world!
However his antics are notorious so his family entourage are unwilling to let him run off into the night to the many clubs and boutiques around. He doesn't even need to do anything but go to his hotel to change and once again he's in the thick of it. Is there no hope for him or his gold vest? Yes...gold vest.
Old enemies are hard to deter and he realizes the severity of the situation when he awakes in Romania!
Great instalment in the series and I want more! Write damn you!

War of the Coffee Bean - The Alienbutt Saga by Glenn Scrimshaw

Review by Tanya
Quite an amusing story - I thoroughly enjoyed all of the characters that came across the pages, their quirks and idiosyncrasies made these characters pop out at me and truly keep me entertained.
The main character is content to just live his life driving a taxi, but with misadventures he unwittingly stumbles across he managed to preservere, with his puppy, Poodle by his side and his friends he is truly an amusing hero.
Glenn Scrimshaw is a gifted story teller and I look forward to reading more of his work.

War of the Coffee bean - An Alienbutt story by Glenn Scrimshaw
5.0 out of 5 stars
Coffee, Kebabs, drunken spaceship commanders. Chaos reins? You don't say!,
This review is from: War of the Coffee Bean (Alienbutt Saga) (Kindle Edition)
Meet a new kind of hero - one that doesn't particularly want the job.
Alienbutt is destined to save the universe but there are some that believe something has gone drastically wrong with prediction as a science - Alienbutt is amongst them. He swigs whiskey like there's no tomorrow - and sometimes wishes there wasn't. He concocts his own lethal variant of chilli sauce for his kebabs and poddles along in his own way, making a name for himself, against his own better judgement.
Glenn Scrimshaw has created a universe where the impossible happens more than 6 times before breakfast, every day. The characters are wonderfully deep and engaging and the storyline is reminiscent of Hitchhiker's Guide, Red Dwarf and Starship Troopers (without the bugs).
I read the book twice and found bits that made me laugh out loud all over again. The imagery is fantabulous and the story drags the reader into deep space and beyond, following along behind (but not too close behind) an alien with 4 butt holes and chronic bad wind.

As a long time fan of sci-fi, I have never been as amused as I was with this story. Very reminiscent of Peter David's humor, WotCB kept me turning pages until there was none left. I laughed and cheered for the good guys while grimacing at the bad. Alienbutt just can't seem to keep himself out of trouble, and I look forward to more adventures from this Author.
