My Dead Boyfriend by Barbara Rose

Review by Tanya
My Dead Boyfriend is a cute read. Fantastic for those times when you need to read, but your brain won't shut off from dealing with real life long enough to enjoy a book, so you go to an easy no brainer.
I enjoyed the way Barbara Rose created the family tie-ins without losing the integrity of the myths and legends.
When I started reading and getting to know the main character, I thought maybe she was going to be a bit on the dark side, but as I continued on I realized the girl had way too much spunk and zest for life to allow the more depressing side to "shine".
I found her brother and Grandfather were refreshingly "real", whereas, I felt really bad about the type of personality her Mother was, but luckily for me, she wasn't too prominent a character. And I was quite pleased with how she brought all the trials and tribulations to happy conclusion :)
