The Singapore Werewolf by Thomas Mackay King

Review by Deb
Please note that I didn't read this book in the flesh, so to speak, but via a kindle.
This story starts with a shy young man doing his annual National Service for Singapore in Western Australia. It is there where he experiences a complete personality change following a dingo bite. It follows the sorry young man back to his home town of Singapore and then around Bangkok and Thailand.
This story was engrossing and enjoyable, if a little predictable and perhaps a bit graphic in the gory parts for some people. However, the lack of punctuation and spelling mistakes in a lot of the passages did detract somewhat what the overall storyline. It certainly made it harder to read it quickly, but it also gave the writing a very hurried and fast paced impression. I think I would give this 3 out of 5 stars. I didn't see anything in this book that blew me away, or even made me raise my eyebrows, it was nothing new but I did enjoy reading it. I'm not completely convinced that I would look out for other books by this author to buy to read, but then I wouldn't ignore them if they wrote about a topic that tickled my fancy.
