Marie: An Inspector Monde Tale of Strange and Terrible Adventures
by John Booth

Review by Claire
I found this a small enough piece to read comfortably in one sitting. It was well written and consistent in the style it was penned in. I wish that it could have been bulked out as I believe the suspense layer could have been pursued, however, that does not detract from the well formed works that it is in its current state.
I got to learn enough about the characters without it being over-kill for the size of the book and I was able to follow the plot with ease. Well done.
