Blood Tide by Tess Oliver

Review by Phoenix
Not my usual kind of book when I first started reading, thinking it was a period romance. But then came the twist of it being with a vampire. Trixie lived in a small fishing village and fell in love with Beck, a vampire. A sweet tale of romance and murder and the whole community pulling together to rescue 2 young girls at the mercy of Mason- the blood thirsty vampire and his clan. Also included in the tale was a vampire hunter, David, who had a twist of his own. Overall a quick read- taking me a day to finish yet I couldn’t get into it straight away as a slow start to what I was expecting. But after I did it was easy to read and not put down as I got into the story and wanted to know what happened next. I would recommend this as a not-so- romantic tale with a hidden twists that most would enjoy.
