Crimson Midnight by Amos Cassidy

Review by Natalie
Rose is feeling the need to leave the nest and explore life while she's still young after seeing what it can throw at you with her comatose mother being a constant reminder. Lucky to have a godmother in London she travels there with her bff Faye to stay in the spare room of Flo's house along with her two son's, one of which happens to be a werewolf.
She unwittingly befriends him and his pack, slowly getting drawn into their world until there's no turning back with her own unwanted secrets being revealed.
It's the first book in a new series by writing duo Amos and Cassidy. With the book based in London I was glad to hear the authors were British aswell as some stories by American authors can be very cliche but this had excellent references to cockney slang which was fun to read.
Great, love-able characters that have easy and relate-able dialogue. There are alot of different viewpoints throughout the story to bring forth details that the main characters won't be aware of until later on but which lead you in the right direction.
There were some minor grammatical errors throughout but they weren't that notice-able.
Very unexpected surprises and villains which I honestly couldn't foresee. Great first book with so much content it could have been two! Eagerly anticipating the second installment.
