Hi there.....here’s hoping that you enjoy my reviews and it encourages you and inspires you to read, whatever the genre. I have always loved reading, writing poems, short stories, reviews and a host of other things, it is something I have been lucky enough to naturally love but there is no doubt I also have my Grandfather to thank who always encouraged me when I was a child to believe I could write.
I enjoy all types of reading from Biography’s, Thrillers, easy Holiday reading novels, Victoria Hislop springs to mind but I am particularly interested in those with a historical content. Barbara Erskine is a particular favourite author in this context. However, I have an open mind and believe in a wide range of reading material.
A little about me.....well I am a busy mother to two challenging teenagers! Owner of a Vintage Collectible shop as well as being a qualified swimming teacher and registered nurse but I still make sure I have some time for reading and writing. It is my escapism and let’s face it we all need a little of that at times don’t you agree?
