Ice cold in Alex by Christopher Landon

The book i read was a classic story and made into a classic film, but i found the book an inspiring story of Man, & Woman and machine's ability to fight against nature, and man's inability to get along with man (War) and yet in this small group of characters in the most dire of circumstances, you find hate, resolution comradeship, ignorance, respect, Love and all the best of human nature to never give up, a story that takes you there, a trip through the desert in a military ambulance called Katy, with the enemy behind you and the desert before you, and the thought of that ice cold beer in a remote bar you can practically taste it off the page, a great book and a damn good read, well recommended.
